Bidding happens on HiBid, not on this site. Here is exactly how it works, and what trips people up the first time.
Three steps

Register on HiBid
Create a free account at primebidz.hibid.com and get approved to bid. Approval is not instant, so do it before the auction closes — this is what catches most first-time bidders out.

Bid from $1
Every lot opens at a dollar. Lots close through the afternoon from 5PM, so follow the ones you want and be ready when they come up.
3
Pick up or ship
Follow the HiBid checkout instructions. Collect in Hernando during the pickup window, or have most lots shipped to you.

WHERE DO I PLACE BIDS?
All bidding takes place on the Prime Bidz HiBid storefront at primebidz.hibid.com, not on this website. This site tells you what is coming up and directs you there.
DO AUCTIONS REALLY START AT $1?
Yes. Every lot opens at $1, which gives bidders a fair shot at real value across a wide range of merchandise.
WHAT KINDS OF ITEMS ARE AVAILABLE?
Overstock, customer returns and liquidation merchandise — typically electronics, small appliances, home goods, tools and toys. Inventory changes with every auction.
IS SHIPPING AVAILABLE?
Shipping is available on most lots. Always check the individual lot and auction terms on HiBid to confirm eligibility before you bid.
WHAT IS A BUYERS PREMIUM?
In auctions, the buyer’s premium is a charge in addition to the sold price of an auction item. The winning bidder is required to pay both the sold price and the buyer’s premium which is 15%.
WHAT IS A MAX BID?
Your max bid is the maximum amount you are willing to pay for an item. This price does not include the buyer’s premium or sales tax.
DO YOU INSPECT ALL PRODUCTS THAT YOU AUCTION?
Yes, all damaged boxed or opened box items are inspected. All items that are brand new and factory sealed are listed as NEW.
HOW DO I KNOW IF I WON?
You will be notified by email. You may also check your HiBid.com user dashboard.
HOW DO I RECEIVE MY ITEMS WON?
At the end of the auction you will receive an email with a scheduling calendar to schedule your pickup date and time. Auction pick up days are also listed in the auction details.
HOW DO I PAY FOR MY ITEMS?
When registering for an auction you will be required to provide a credit or debit card for verification. At the end of the auction we will use this card to charge for an items purchased.
CAN TAX EXEMPT BUYERS PURCHASE FROM PRIME BIDZ?
Yes, please supply us with your tax exempt certification as soon as possible, so we mark your account tax exempt.
HOW MUCH IS SHIPPING?
We charge a handling fee of $5.99 per shipping box + the exact shipping cost for the box. If you have a very large item we can also LTL your purchase.
WHAT HAPPENS IS AN ITEM IS DIFFERENT THAN WHAT IS LISTED?
If the item is different from what is listed please contact us immediately. We do our best to list all items to the best of our ability but mistakes do happen.
DO YOU GUARANTEE THE ITEMS SOLD AT AUCTION?
All items listed are to be in the condition listed. Meaning if we listed as NEW the item should be in new condition. If the item is USED then it will most likely have signs of use.
